Russia Focuses on British Military Spacecraft Each Week

Moscow's orbital vehicles have been shadowing UK defense satellites, per the account of the head of Britain's space operations.
During a discussion, Maj Gen Paul Tedman has premierly set out the degree of interference from Moscow against the UK's orbital systems.
He mentioned the Russian government had also been attempting to disrupt the UK's armed forces orbital systems with terrestrial equipment each seven-day period.
Last month, Germany's Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said Moscow had been following orbital systems used by the nation's defense.
Gen Tedman explained of how Russia was conducting parallel operations to the UK. "They demonstrate curiosity in our activities and operating nearby," he said.

Gen Tedman said UK military satellites had been outfitted with disruption protection measures but added: "We notice our orbital systems being disrupted by the Russian forces on a fairly regular schedule."
When asked the regularity, he responded "each week". This was, he said, intentional and the operations had grown since Russia's full-scale invasion of the Ukrainian nation. Britain has half a dozen dedicated military satellites in space providing data transmission and observation.
